Deborah “Deb” Sanders passed away peacefully on December 31, 2023, at the Assiniboine Centre, surrounded by the love of her family after a second valiant battle with cancer.
Born on June 16, 1955, in Brantford, ON, Deb was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, and friend. Her approach to life was defined by a profound love for both the journey itself and the people she encountered along the way. Her genuine, uplifting spirit brought people together, leaving a lifelong impression on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Deb is survived by her loving husband, John; her daughter, Brooke; and her sister, Lisa (John) Steffler; and their children, Ashley, Brittany, and Derek. She was predeceased by her parents, Tom Robinson and Margaret “Reta” Robinson, as well as her brothers Glen and Roy Robinson.
The echoes of Mom’s love and laughter carry her legacy of warmth, happiness and love. Even though you’ve departed this earth, your presence will be forever etched in our hearts, and you will never be forgotten.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Deb may be made to a charity of choice.
