PETER BRUCE WOOD

May 8, 1948 - January 2, 2024


Peter passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family.



He is survived by his wife of 54 years Louaine; his sons Chris (Christie) and their children Jessie (Alix) and Brandon; Matthew and his children London and Alyssa and their mother Carey; niece and nephew Terry and Steven Wood and their mother Linda; sisters-in-law Debbie (Larry), Betty (Walter) and Rosemary.



He was predeceased by his parents Anne and Arnold and his brothers Harvey and Clifford.



Peter retired as a locomotive engineer from CP Rail in 2004 after 35 years of service.



He enjoyed cycling and playing pool. His bike trip from Banff to Jasper was a highlight.



A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, February 11, in Assiniboine Park at the Pavilion Atrium. Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. with remarks at noon followed by refreshments.
