Kristel ... today I was sorting through my desk and saw a card from your Dad and Mom. I think of them often, they were our neighbours in Winnipeg from August 31, 1985 to August 31, 1988 when we moved to Victoria. They were the nicest, most wonderful people. Gerda and Hans were both so kind to Perry and I, a newly married couple. We did keep in touch after we left and saw them in person when they moved to Wilkes Avenue. It is hard to believe that they are both passed. There was never move giving people in all the world. We were blessed to move next door them them. You're Mom gave me a crystal bowl that I still treasure to this day. May they be all together and be resting easy. They have earned their wings. I'm sorry for your loss Kristel. Perry and I still have the little Christmas tree ornament you gave us in 1987. Every time I put it on the tree I think of you and your family! I hope you are all well. May all the memories wrap around you at this time and bring you some comfort. Karen & Perry Clark. - Posted by: Karen & Perry Clark (Friends) on: Sep 23, 2024
