Stan passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 14, 2024, at the Bethesda Regional Health Centre in Steinbach, Manitoba.
Stan arrived in Canada from the United Kingdom in the late 1960s and was working for Kuehne and Nagel where he met Noella. Stan and Noella enjoyed many years together travelling and golfing and spent many winters in Texas, where they made numerous friends.
He is survived by one son Marcus Saunders and one granddaughter Shauna Saunders in the United Kingdom, as well as brothers and sisters-in-law, and nieces and nephews in Canada and abroad.
Stanley was predeceased by his wife and soulmate Noella Desautels in December 2020.
Cremation has taken place and private burial ceremony to follow in spring 2024.
