Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET WINNIFRED (WINNIE) ROBINSON
It is with heavy heart that I write that Winnie passed away peacefully on January 24, 2024, one day after turning 88.
Margaret Winnifred Robinson (nee Blowes) born to Lorraine Deller, grew up in Shoal Lake, MB. After the passing of her husband Peter, Winnie lived with her daughter in Yorkton, SK, followed by living in Brandon, MB, after been set up in a nice little apartment by her son, then living out the rest of her life in Whitemouth, MB.
Winnie will be missed by many, her son Robert (Christy), grandsons Matthew and Joshua; daughter Lori (Michael), grandchildren Brandon and Brittany (Tim Tatro); sisters, Hazel, Flo, Marg, and Linda, and many nieces and nephews. And with a big smile that could light up a room, she easily made many dear friends along the way.
Many big family gatherings held at Winnie’s mom’s (Lorraine) place in Shoal Lake are cherished memories that we can hold in our hearts. Winnie’s love was her family. She enjoyed watching Lori and Rob play sports; Rob’s love of hockey and baseball, and Lori’s love of figure skating, ringette, and ladies softball. Yes, many weekends in a rink or baseball diamond somewhere!
Winnie, enjoy eternal life smoking, drinking Cokes, eating chocolate, playing bingo and watching the Game Show Network as much as you want. Give Dad a hug from us.
Thank you to everyone who took Winnie to bingo, out for coffee or just took the time to pop in for a quick visit. The love is truly appreciated.
To the staff at Whitemouth Personal Care Home, your care and compassion go above anything anyone could ever imagine. Love you all.
Love you always Mom. Goodbye from Lori and Rob and so many more, until we’re together again.
Winnie will be cremated and her ashes will be placed in the columbarium in Shoal Lake at a later date. No service is planned.
