JOYCE SIMMONS
Peacefully on January 24, 2024, Joyce passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 92.
Her memory will be forever cherished by her children, son Andy Simmons; daughters, Jean Gaskin, Antoinette Zloty, Judy Friesen and Deborah Morgans.
Memorial service will be held on Friday, February 2, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, West St. Paul.

I had an opportunity to meet Jean, Andy and Judy as we were moving our mothers into the same assisted living facility in Winnipeg. I appreciated the loving care and attention all showed to ensure their mother was comfortable and well cared for. Jean invited my mother and myself to visit she and Joyce. We enjoyed a conversation with Joyce who was elegant, soft spoken but engaging. On behalf of our family, we extend our loving thoughts to her children and extended family. I am so honored to have spent time with Jean. She was a lady whom I shall never forget. Although she was not a person of many words she shared her life journey and we spent many an afternoon in her home enjoying each others company. I felt her love an appreciation every time we were together. She had a huge heart for her children and grandchildren.
