David “Dave” Poets passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, January 26, 2024, at the Brandon Regional Health Centre.
Dave will be lovingly remembered by his wife Phyllis; children Debbie (Chuck) Burton, Holly (Marcel) Landry, and Dean (Hazel Bergen) Poets; grandchildren Jennifer (Drew) Ellement, Chris Burton, Karlie (Riley) Chumola, and Jess (Marty Bayer) Landry; great-grandchildren Henry and George Ellement, Brody and Maisie Chumola, and Blake Landry-Bayer, and special adopted daughter Valentina (Edes V Eigbiremonlen).
A Celebration of Life will be held at Bethel Christian Assembly, 440 Richmond Avenue, Brandon, MB, on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Mike Gordon to officiate.

Sorry to hear of Dave’s passing. I knew Dave and Phyllis for years as I did Phyllis' hair years ago. Dave will be greatly missed by all who knew him. My Deepest Sympathy to Phyllis and Family.
