William (Bill) Ross Mealy passed away suddenly with his wife Joyce by his side at the Assiniboine Centre on December 23, 2023, at the age of 88 years. He will be remembered and sadly missed by his wife Joyce, son Shane, grandchildren Addison and Christopher, and sister Marlene. Bill was a proud grandpa that loved his grandchildren. He was a hard worker with his own business in plaster and stuccoing. Bill liked to have a good time, was fun loving, enjoyed laughing (oh and could he laugh!) and was known to many as “Wild Bill”. He loved to talk with people and joke around any chance he had. You couldn’t go anywhere without Bill knowing someone, so it was never a quick trip. He had a huge soft spot and was a generous man, willing to give you the shirt off his back. Bill was a loved husband, dad, grandpa and we will miss him dearly. Rest well. Forever in our hearts. A celebration of Bill’s life will be held at a later date.
