ADOLF GESELL
Peacefully with family by his side, Adolf passed away at the age of 85 years, on January 25, 2024.
He is survived by his wife Edeltraud (Traudel); children, Sabine (Robert), Baerbel (Fred) and Christopher (Susan) and five grandchildren. He will also be remembered by his brother Alex Gesell (Hannchen) and sister-in-law Erika Gesell.
A celebration of Adolf’s life will take place on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Avenue.

In 1974, after completing university, a friend and I had a low-budget backpack travel trip to Europe. My mother, Lydia Guse spoke with Mrs. Gesell (Adolph's mother) and it was arranged that we would visit Adolph who was working in Germany. When we arrived, Adolph moved out of his accommodation, gave us his room, took us sightseeing and treated us to a wonderful supper at lovely local restaurant! Such a generous man!
