WALTER BONAS
After a brief illness, with family at his side, Walter Bonas was peacefully called home on January 25, 2024, at Grace Hospital.
Walter was born in Winnipeg in 1956. Walter was predeceased by his father Artur, mother Gertrud, and brother Eugene. He will be lovingly remembered by his sister Margerette, nieces, Elizabeth and Miranda, great-nephews, Evan and Randy, great-nieces, Kenadi and Aleah and numerous relatives.
In accordance with Walter’s wishes Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 9, 2024, at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Avenue with Pastor Bjoern Meinhardt officiating. Interment of ashes to follow at Brookside Cemetery. Followed by a luncheon at Neil Bardal.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Walter’s memory may be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
