It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Elsie at Misericordia Place on Monday, January 29, 2024.
She leaves to mourn sons, Leonard and Lee; daughter Linda and son-in-law Martin. Elsie was predeceased by her parents, Leonard and Hildur Moline and husband Joseph.
Elsie loved her collection of cookbooks, owls, troll dolls and Furby's. She also liked to go to the casinos here in Manitoba and was a frequent visitor to Las Vegas, where she liked to play the penny slot machines and enjoy the buffets. She was also an avid Winnipeg Jets fan and always cheered for her team.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude and appreciation to the nurses and all of staff of MP2 at Misericordia Place for their loving care to Elsie over the last year and a half.
In lieu of flowers, if you wish, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
In accordance with Elsie's wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.
