I always looked forward to seeing Dan from spring to fall, when he would come for haircuts while at the lake. He loved StLaurent, it was home to him, especially Laurentia beach. We talked about the old days, when I was a teenager hanging out at beach with his daughter Dianne and the gang, corn roasts, gardening, everything and anything. He was an awesome human being, and I’m gonna miss him! - Posted by: Yvette Bruce (His hairdresser in St Laurent) on: Feb 22, 2024

I am really shocked to hear about what happened to Daniel. Just tried calling Dan and Lorraine today to share a great news but ended up hearing a sad news about Dan’s passing. They are really an awesome couple I can tell ever since I met them. Simple and down to earth people and I cannot deny the fact that you will love talking to them and sharing stories coz for sure they will listen. I pray that his soul be at peace and I extend my condolences to his wife, Lorraine, and to their whole family. Rest in peace and let the perpetual light shine upon him. - Posted by: John (Friend) on: Feb 09, 2024

I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Coyle's passing. He was a wonderful, compassionate person. He was my Executive Director at the Province of Manitoba for many years. Mr. Coyle opened many new doors for me to pursue my career. I will always be grateful to him for that. He treated everyone with the utmost respect. He will be missed. Rest in peace Mr. Coyle. - Posted by: Jennifer Morris (Co-worker) on: Feb 06, 2024

So sorry for your loss Lorraine, Richard, and Diane. What a wonderful man. I can't even begin to say how lucky we Stelmack's were to have you as neighbours growing up. So many fond memories and he always let me know the door was wide open to me anytime. Much love, Andrew. - Posted by: Andrew Stelmack (friend) on: Feb 03, 2024

Dan was my neighbour at Lake Manitoba for the last 20 years. He was one of the first people to greet my wife and I when we bought our cottage there. Dan was always a great orator, who was always ready with a great story to tell. With his health declining in the last few years, Dan and Lorraine made the best of their time at the lake. I always respected Dan for his wisdom and wit. My condolences to Lorraine, Diane, Richard and to the rest of the family. May he rest in peace. - Posted by: Claude Berard (neighbour) on: Feb 03, 2024
