JANICE DEBORAH (DEB) SHILOFF
Janice Deborah (Deb) Shiloff passed away peacefully on January 22, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Tatiana Janice Shiloff.
Deb was proud of her many accomplishments. She succeeded in her music, various sporting and educational pursuits, often earning recognition for her proficiency. Attaining a PhD (Biochemical Pharmacology) and the winning many awards with her University of Winnipeg basketball team were particular highlights.
Deb loved animals of all shapes and sizes and adopted many into her family over the years. Human relationships often didn't fulfill her ideals.
Deb had hopes for increased acceptance of diversity in the world. She often expressed disappointment in the behaviour of others, and left these parting words: Be Truthful with One Another.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB R3T 0R3.
