EARL GORDON RODGER
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Earl Gordon Rodger on January 29th at the age of 90.
Earl was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, as well as a mentor and inspiration to many others. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 65 years, Nadine; daughters, Debbie, Donna, Diane and Dawn-Lee; grandchildren, Michael, Marc, Jennifer, Amber, Joe, and Hunter; as well as six great-grandchildren. He will also be dearly missed by numerous other relatives and friends.
As a proud member of the R.C.M.P. for 35 years, Earl served throughout Manitoba, building lasting relationships in many communities. Upon retirement, he enjoyed coffee with old friends and various hobbies, but above all, he valued the time he was able to spend with his family. His generosity, dedication and involvement in the lives of his children and grandchildren was one of his greatest accomplishments.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made in Earl’s name to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation, 675 McDermot Avenue, Rm 1160, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9, Tel:204-787-4143.

I met Earl in Thompson where we both worked for the RCMP. He was always friendly and a gentleman. I worked at Thompson Detachment for 23 years and when Earl left Thompson I lost track of him. My condolences to Nadine and all the family. - Posted by: Lorraine Henderson (Friend and co-worker ) on: Feb 09, 2024

As the girlfriend of an RCMP member, being invited to a senior member's for dinner, was somewhat daunting. To be invited to Earl and Nadine's was a joy! They and their girls welcomed us and as I remember we all ended up on the floor operating a train set.....I think Santa's gift for Diane! We were friends for many years although separated by miles. Our sympathy to Nadine, the girls, and the grandchildren. Earl was a wonderful man and he will be missed. RIP our friend. - Posted by: Ross and Cheryl Annand (Friends) on: Feb 07, 2024
