Joginder Kaur Sirha peacefully passed away in her sleep on January 31, 2024, at the age of 90.
Joginder is survived by her eldest daughter Paramjeet Ghattora (Satinder), Sharanjeet Virdi (Kuldeep), son Surinder Sirha (Sukhjit), grandchildren Jessie Ghattora (Amrine), Melni Ghattora (Onkar), Harpreet Virdi, Sonia Ghataura (Jeetinder), Sonny and Delica Sirha, great-granddaughter Suhana Ghattora.
She was predeceased by her father, the late Sardar Gurbaksh Singh Lall, mother Gurbachan Kaur Lall, brother Sardar Amrik Singh Lall, sister Nirmal Rai, and husband Sardar Mohan Singh Sirha.
Joginder was born in Punjab, India, and immigrated to Vancouver, BC on June 1st, 1977. Together, Joginder and Mohan moved to Winnipeg in 1982.
She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.
Funeral services will be held at Thompson “In the Park” Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. in Winnipeg on February 10, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. Following the funeral services, we invite everyone to join us at Ramgarhia Association of Manitoba, located at 566 Archibald St. to honor and celebrate Joginder Kaur Sirha's life.
May her soul rest in peace.
