It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our loving mother and granny on February 10, 2024.
Mom passed at Golden Door Senior Centre with her family by her side. Mom was predeceased by her husband Mark, mother Grace, father James, sisters Irene, Laureen, Grace and brother Donald and granddaughter Amy.
Inez is survived by her loving three children, Brenda (Brian), Ken (Janice), Bruce (Kim): grandchildren Miranda (Brad), Amber, Rachel (Scott), Mark and Michelle; great-grandchildren, Mattison, Nolan, Logan, Owen and Henry.
Mom cherished her family and this was the most important thing to her throughout her life. Mom enjoyed her time watching her kids and grandkids play sports, camping and spending time at the cabin.
A celebration of her life will be held on February 21, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Avenue.
The family would like to thank the staff at Golden Door Portage wing for love, support and all the ice cream they gave Mom.
In lieu of flowers, donations if desired may be made in care of the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba

We were saddened to learn of the passing of "Auntie Inez." We remember her with great fondness as she was so often the family member who kept in touch with all of us. Her phone calls always came at those special times of the year such as Christmas or Birthday's. We all seem to remember that her voice was filled with warmth and affection during our chats. We shared memories, laughter, worries and losses, knowing that she offered a kindly heart and a listening ear to those who were part of her family. She always spoke of her children and grandchildren with the deepest love, gratitude and respect. Our hearts go out to you at this time , and we hope that her legacy of love will embrace you with the comfort she would want you to find, It was a privilege to have known her.
