With heavy hearts, surrounded by the love of her family, our dear Jennifer passed away on February 8, 2024 after her courageous battle with cancer.
Jennifer is survived by her beloved son Andrew Morland (Courtney), mom Shirley Shinnie, sisters, Joneen Livingston (Doug), Wanda Hogarth (Glenn) and Cindy Bonin (Andre), and brother Steven Shinnie (Maria), as well as her nieces and nephews who adored their Aunty Jennifer. She touched the hearts of many people in her life, who will miss her dearly.
Jennifer was predeceased by her husband Gerald Morland and her father Robert Shinnie.
Jennifer was born in Fort Churchill, Manitoba on September 3, 1953, and lived most of her life in Manitoba. She had a passion for new experiences and did not let her handicap prevent her from enjoying any activity, travels or other interests. She especially loved curling, both as a player and a spectator. Her amazing spirit and zest for life were an inspiration to anyone who met her.
Keeping with Jennifer’s wishes, there will be a private Celebration of Life.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Manitoba Blind Sports Association, Curling Program, 145 Pacific Avenue, Winnipeg, MB, R3B 2Z6.
Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and all the support staff at the Women’s Hospital, Cancer Care Gyne Oncology Team, Palliative Care Team and Spiritual Therapy team.

So many good memories of attending scrap booking weekends with Jen. I will always remember her yodel laugh and never ending conversations of anything. Rest in Peace Jen. - Posted by: Lil Arsenault (Friend) on: Mar 03, 2024
