Unexpectedly, after a short illness, Bruce completed his earthly journey.
Bruce leaves to mourn his wife Mary (Marianna), daughter Elizabeth, son Kenneth, daughter Lelainia, sister Louise (Dave) and families. He was predeceased by his mother Retta and father Herbert.
Bruce was born at the old Grace Hospital and lived most of his life in Winnipeg, with the exception of 11 years near Gimli. He was an avid outdoorsman in his earlier years, loved nature and animals, and enjoyed painting landscapes and reading.
Interment has occurred with family. A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, February 21 at 2:00 p.m., at St. Luke’s Anglican Church, 130 Nassau St. N., Winnipeg.
Sincere thanks to the staff at St. Boniface Hospital, especially the cardiology unit.
Bruce will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed.
