Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryAMOS LEVI PETER GIESBRECHT
With heavy hearts we announce the death of our son Amos. He passed peacefully on February 5, 2024, at HSC in Winnipeg, at the age of 34.
Amos will be sadly missed by his mom Elizabeth Cohoe, his dad Randolph Giesbrecht, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Amos attended Ashland Montesorri, Riverview and Churchill High. He spent one year at the U of M. Upon finishing school, he entered the carpentry trade working with his dad Randy. He became a very skilled craftsman. He enjoyed listening to music, and using a flight simulator on his computer. He was a kind, gentle soul who took great pleasure watching the squirrels in the yard, and checking for Monarch butterfly caterpillars in the milkweed patch. He took particular delight in the mock orange hedge he had planted outside his window, with its lovely aroma.
We would like to thank all the health care professionals who aided Amos in his last days, particularly the nurses and staff at the MICU at HSC. A special thanks goes to Dr. Jacobs for his help in getting us through this difficult time.
There will be no service at this time. To remember Amos, donations can be made to Nature Conservancy of Canada or Trees Winnipeg.

We lived next to Randy, Biff and Amos and remember the awesome skating rink Randy built for Amos. He spent many winter nights out there. We are so sorry to hear of his passing and very sorry for your great loss! - Posted by: Gladys and Barry (Previous neighbour) on: Mar 22, 2024
