It is with profound sadness that we announce the loss of our beloved Barbara.
As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date.

My sister and I met Barb when my Mom (Anna Komarchuk) moved into Concordia Village. Barb soon adopted Mom as her 'second Mother' and Karen and I became her 'sisters'. Even though Barb's mobility was not easy, she was a going concern and managed to support and help other residents in whatever way she could. When Mom was not able to come down for dinner, Barb would always make sure she had a tray delivered or her coffee cup filled. After Mom died, I saw Barb a few times when I stopped in at Concordia and am sad to say that those visits were a while ago.
