PATRICIA LENORE JENNIFER ARKLE

(nee SEALEY)

August 17, 1957 – March 4, 2024

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our wife, mom and grandma, Patricia, at the age of 66 with her family by her side.

Patricia will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered. Left to cherish her memory are: her husband Jim, her son Shawn (Stacee), daughter Shannon (Matthew) and grandchildren Tayler, Dylan, Jordan, Dallas and Hayden. She is survived by her brothers and sisters: Brenda (Chuck), Donna (Kent), Arnie (Lynne), Joyce (Gil), Mark, Marion (Gino) and Alan (Marcia) as well as her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Arnold and Lenore Sealey. Her dog Charlie and cats Jake and Fergus will sadly miss their mom.

Patricia was born in Winnipeg and proudly grew up in Fort Garry where she met her husband Jim, and they were lovingly married for 49 years. She attended General Byng and Vincent Massey Collegiate. Growing up in the Sealey family, or as we like to call them “the eight”, there was never a celebration missed, everyone was always welcome and tea was always on.

Patricia and Jim married on March 22, 1975 and raised Shawn and Shannon in La Salle, Manitoba where they called home. Patricia was self-employed and retired in December 2017.

Patricia enjoyed gardening (a passion she got from her father), baking for everyone, family gatherings, her summers at Big Whiteshell, Flamingofest in Matlock and her daily walks around La Salle chatting with her friends and neighbors along the way.

Her greatest joys in life were her grandchildren…Love you forever.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at the Caisse Community Center in La Salle, MB. Please join us (come and go) between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.

A special thank you to Dr. Goldenberg, Dr. Fatoye and all the nurses and staff at the Victoria Buhler Center.

Donations can be made in Patricia’s memory to Winnipeg Harvest or Winnipeg Humane Society.
