I had known Bonnie for over 70 years. She was a great neighbour, a great friend and a great person. George and Marg were justifiably proud of her. Bon voyage, Bonnie. - Posted by: George Deegan (Friend) on: Mar 31, 2024

Bonnie and I were school mates and had many adventures together. In high school we were cheer leaders, ate lunch together where we teased Bon because she had the biggest lunch bag in spite of being the skinniest in our group. When we started working and had a few dollars, our group of 4 would take the Greyhound to Minneapolis to shop. We often came home with the same items and were always laughing. Then came 1960, first Joyce got married to Don, then I got married to Jack and we moved to Montreal. The rest of the group stayed in Winnipeg. Then came the babies--Glen was born the same year as my Sharon and our friendship entered a new phase. I went back to Winnipeg frequently and we kept in touch by letter, e-mail and phone. - Posted by: Wilma Maloney (Lifelong friend) on: Mar 24, 2024

She was a lovely lady and will be missed. She enjoyed playing bridge and knew many people in that genre. I felt that I had known her forever, even though it’s been just a few years since we’ve met. Take care of Bob. We are thinking of you. - Posted by: Nola Brown (Friend) on: Mar 21, 2024

Only knew her a short time, such a kind and joyful lady. She drove us to hockey practice after school when we did not have rides. How she squeezed 3 14 yr olds and hockey gear into her Camaro, I will never know, but she always laughed all the way to the rink, then stayed and drove us home!! I have known Bonnie for over 30 years. We met at Falcon Lake tennis courts. We shared a passion 4 the lake life. Bonnie was a great host and always loved a good party. She surely did at her marriage 2 Bob. My condolences 2 Bob and her family. I'm sure she will be hooping it up on the tennis courts in heaven. - Posted by: CINDY Bestland (Friend) on: Mar 21, 2024

I have known Bonnie for thirty years, we met at tennis. We formed the Rat pack gang which included Beatriz (who is in heaven with Bonnie now), Beatrice, Tom and myself. We tried to go out at least once a month to either Mona Lisa's or Rae and Jerry's. She loved having these gatherings and if we had these dinners at one of our homes, we would move the living room furniture so we could dance especially to Bonnie's favorite the Bee Gees. I will so miss you Bonnie. Now you and Beatriz can raise havoc together again in heaven. - Posted by: Cindy Kaston-Radford (Dear friend) on: Mar 21, 2024
