REID KACHMAR
Reid Kachmar passed away at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg on March 4, 2024, at the age of 49, after complications from a stroke. Reid maintained a close bond with his parents, dedicating time to care for his father in recent years.
From the competitive energy of floor hockey in his youth to his later years cheering for the Saskatchewan Roughriders, Reid found joy and escape in the world of sports. His love for comic books and 1980s collectibles displayed his passions growing up and his nostalgia for simpler times.
A service will be held at the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Winnipeg at 603 Wellington Crescent on April 6, 2024, at 2:00 p.m.
In remembrance of Reid, and in recognition of the complexities of heart health, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation are appreciated in lieu of flowers.

I had the wonderful opportunity of working with Reid for many years. He was an excellent worker and an all around fantastic guy. I saw Reid a few times over the past six months while I was working. It was always a pleasure seeing him and catching up. Sending my deepest condolences to all of Reid's family and friends. - Posted by: Gary Stelter (Friend) on: Mar 23, 2024
