It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Peter Damnjanovic on March 4, 2024, with his beloved wife Margaret by his side. They were each other’s strength and support for 67 years. Together they had five children.
Peter was born in Gornji, Milanovic, Serbia and immigrated to Winnipeg in 1948. Starting from humble beginnings, Peter had a strong work ethic. He was a businessman with integrity, creating a proud legacy in Daplex Plumbing and Heating.
Peter loved and was proud of his family. He will be lovingly missed by his wife Margaret and their children, Angelika, Deborah, Milica, Sandra and Peter Jr. including his grandchildren and great-grandchildren for his nurturing, guidance and support.
We thank our children and grandchildren for their love and care. We miss you Pops, we miss you Deda.
A heartfelt thank you is extended to the Grace Hospital Emergency staff for their compassionate care. Thank you also to my sister Lily for her help and support and our family and friends for their faithful prayers.
Special acknowledgment to St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church. In honour of Peter, a private Celebration of Life service will be at a later date.

I worked with Peter at Daplex P&H for 15 years. i learned much from Peter and had many enjoyable experiences while working there. our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.
