It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we had to say good-bye to our beautiful, intelligent, loving and compassionate mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Anna Hofer, on March 19, 2024, in her 96th year at Grace Hospital.
Mom was a devoted Christian throughout her life which instilled in her the importance of family and her faith in God. She was the youngest of 14 children and is survived by her brother David and sister Susanna, 10 children, 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband John in December 2002 shortly after celebrating their 51st wedding anniversary, her parents, Jacob and Rebecca Wipf and her 11 siblings. Our mother’s wish to take her final step on her stairway to heaven to be reunited with her loving husband has been fulfilled.
A celebration of Anna’s life will take place at Grace Christian Church, 50 Barnes Street, Winnipeg, MB on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Green Acres Funeral Home & Cemetery.
Charitable donations may be made to Grace Hospital and/or Grace Christian Church.

Had the opportunity to speak numerous times with Anne. She was so kind and understanding. Anne oftentimes, would stop on her way to the shopping Mall (shopping for one of her clients) and we would converse while I was working on a repair to my car. Anne was one of those people, who tried to make this world a better place to live. My condolences to both, her family and church family members, as she will be greatly, missed. - Posted by: Randy Fisher (Family friend) on: Mar 25, 2024
