NINA BOZENA KACZMAREK

November 12, 1950 - March 24, 2024

With sadness we announce the passing of Nina Bozena Kaczmarek, surrounded with family and friends. She was 73 years at the time of her passing due to cancer. Nina was born in Norrkoping, Sweden, November 12, 1950.

She was predeceased by her parents, Zygmunt and Aleksandra Kaczmarek, her beloved Babcia (Julia) and Dziadek (Miroslaw) Tutaj, and her younger sister Barbara Kaczmarek, and is survived by her brothers, Tom Kaczmarek and Michael Kaczmarek, cousins, Mary, Ola and Marg, four children, Clifford Leuzinger (Angie), Barbara Davis (Robert), Tonya Moreton, Donovan Moreton (Laura), her adoptive daughter Shakira Beaulieu, and her grandson Donovan Carr.

She spent her early years at the cottage at West Hawk Lake and spent many hours swimming, snorkeling, sailing and water skiing. Nina went into nursing in the late 1970s and achieved her LPN and then her RN. She loved music and singing in the Baha’i choir.

About a decade ago, she moved to Whitemouth, where she was embraced by a warm and welcoming community and was blessed with amazing neighbours who really helped her out during these past few years. Nina adored her dogs and working on her home to build her private oasis.

Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Desjardins Funeral Home, 357 DesMeurons Street, with the Burial to follow at St. Clements Anglican Cemetery.
