DAVID JANZ
David passed away peacefully on March 27, 2024, at St. Boniface Hospital at age 77, surrounded by his family, following a cardiac arrest.
He is survived by his wife Colleen, daughter Kelly (Laurence), grandchildren, Joshua, Caleb, Savana, and Genevieve; son Ryan (Jessica), grandchildren, Evelyn and Samuel; son Jason (Paige), grandchildren, Jordan and Amara.
David was born in Barrie, ON and raised in Souris, MB, learning a strong work ethic on the family dairy farm.
He moved to Winnipeg in 1967, marrying Colleen in 1969. David worked in accounting throughout his life, founding Alpha Management and Accounting in 1992.
He cherished his faith and was actively involved in Bethel Chapel in Selkirk. He is known for his kindness and humour. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and helping others.
The family thanks the staff of St. Boniface Cardiac ICU for their excellent care. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on April 4, 2024, at Covenant Christian Reformed Church, 653 Knowles Ave., Winnipeg, with interment on April 5 in Elgin, MB Cemetery.

My sincerest condolences to you Colleen and your families. This will be a tough journey but God will be there for you and your kids and grandkids. My Deepest condolences to the family of my dear friend, co-worker Brother DAVE JANZ. Dave and I were known for a few months when we worked together at a blind factory, Superblind then change to Great Shades Limited . Dave was our Accountant and I was in the Manufacturing Department doing Roller Shades, Delivery and Installation. I call him Brother because we are both Christian in faith thru our Lord Jesus Christ.
