Marilyn June McDonald passed away peacefully at her residence on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at the age of 85 years. Mom was born in Hamiota, MB on July 19, 1938 and spent her early years in Harding, MB, attending school in both Harding and Bradwardine. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Shirley, Sharon (Mike) Gerritzen, Sandra (George) Mellis, Jack (Pattie) McDonald; grandchildren Jason (Astrid) and Trevor Holm, Christopher Gerritzen, Shayne (McKenzie) and Braeden (Kaitlyn) Mellis and Jesse and Logan McDonald; great-grandchildren Lucas, Baron and Olivia; and special friend Murray Balmer. Mom was predeceased by her children’s father Wes McDonald, parents John and Margaret Lowe, brother Bob and sister Donna and grandson baby Mellis. A private family graveside service for Marilyn will be held at a later date.

My deepest condolences to all of Marilyn’s family. I have known Marilyn for just over 6 1/2 yrs when I lived in the same building. She was the sweetest lady ever.
