After a full, blessed life, Sylvia passed away in her 86th year on March 31, 2024 at the Grace Hospital in Winnipeg.
She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of 65 years, Peter; by her children, Jamie (Curt), Craig Peter (Lisa) and Katrina (Ken); by her grandchildren, Lia, Craig James (Lianni), and Kez; by her great-grandchildren, Hunter, Jersey, and Cassion; by her remaining siblings, Gary (Grace), James, Dennis (Nina), and Marjorie (Gary); and by her sisters-in-law, Stella, Vivian and Dianne.
She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Rachael Faith (Katrina) and by three of her siblings, Bryce, Louise, and Fred; two sisters-in-law, Lola Anderson and Natalie Anderson; and four brothers-in-law, Bill Koshyk, Jim Neufeld, Fred Kosack, and Rod MacLennan.
A celebration of Sylvia’s life will be held on Monday, April 8, 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg. Interment to follow at the St. James Anglican Church in Libau, Manitoba.
In lieu of flowers, we invite you to make a donation in support of the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba or a charity of your choice.
