DANIEL JAMES HUZARSKI
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved husband and father, Dan Huzarski, age 58, at home on March 24th.
Dan was born on April 19, 1965 in Winnipeg to Richard and Barbara Huzarski. After spending a brief period with his parents and brother in Pilot Mound, the family settled permanently in North Kildonan, where he would eventually attend Miles Macdonell Collegiate. This was also, where he met his future wife Lisa, and they married in 1989. In 1993, they joyously welcomed their little girl Megan into their family. Throughout his life, Dan was known for his ability to cook amazing meals for his family, his love for curling, hockey, and the Local Winnipeg Jets team, his soft-heartedness for the family cats over the years, and his unwavering love and support for his family. He also loved his work as a Controller over the years, providing an outlet for his aptitude for numbers.
He was a caring husband to his wife Lisa for 35 years, and a loving father to his daughter Megan. Both will lovingly and sorrowfully carry on his memory.
He will also be missed by his brother Jim Huzarski, sister-in-law Evelyn Huzarski, niece Sarah Huzarski, mother-in-law Doris Mahoney, and sister-in-law Maureen Mahoney, as well as all those who knew him.
A memorial service will be held at Klassen Funeral Home, 1897 Henderson Hwy, Winnipeg on Saturday, April 13th at 1:00 p.m. A reception will be held afterward.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba.

Jim, Evelyn & Sarah I am so sorry to hear of Dan's passing. I remember him from our days at Miles Mac and would see him once in awhile, when I was your next door neighbour for many years, when he came over. My thoughts are with you and your family at this time. - Posted by: Mendy Wolchock Moroz (High school friend) on: Apr 06, 2024
