AIME GUY EMERY
Our Family is saddened to announce the loss of Aimé Guy Emery at 67 years of age. Aimé passed away on March 31, 2024, at the Health Sciences Centre (HSC).
He is survived by his wife Barb of 43 years; sons, Tim, Shawn (Cindy); grandchildren, Glen and Lily. Predeceased by his parents, four brothers, and one sister.
He grew up in Ste. Rita, MB. Aimé moved to Winnipeg where he met Barb in 1979. On June 7, 1980, they were married and moved to the RM of Springfield in 1987 where they raised their family.
Aimé was self-employed as a backhoe operator. Throughout his 43-year career he made many lifelong friends in the construction industry. Quoting Aimé “Anybody can dig a hole but you got to know what’s in the ground.”
A special thanks to the staff and doctors at HSC-GA5 Stepdown. Your kindness and caring was greatly appreciated.
In lieu of flowers, you may donate to the charity of your choice.
A memorial service will take place on Monday, April 8, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., West St. Paul, MB.

I'm sorry to hear this! Amie was very generous with my family. My dad Charlie Payjack and my Uncle George Kopec were good friends with Amie. My Dad hired him to do numerous jobs for me and at his house as well. He cleaned snow in my parents driveway on a regular basis. He loved his backhoe! He always had a smile on his face.
