I remember your mom as a shy young mother of 4 little kids, a good friend of Karen Mascioli, they had grown up on neighbouring farms, near Culross. She was one of the young wives of the cousins, my dad, Wally Martens, the Thiessen bros, and the Giesbrechts. They were a large close family. She lost your father and was a young widow who had the strength to get involved in the family printing business and looked after you all. She remained gentle and kind and helped you all get on the right path for good futures. Dora has been on my mind regularly the past couple of years. I was wondering how she was doing when I met Terry and Heidi a month ago at McNally Robinson’s and they told me her health was failing. I had kept her in my prayers. - Posted by: Jocelyn preston (Relative) on: Apr 15, 2024
