  • Patti and I were saddened to hear of Brian’s passing. We met Joanne and Brian RV’ing winter of 2021-22 in Florida. We crossed paths in Flagler Bch and became fast friends. Touring around area spending afternoons / evenings, “Happy Hours”, plenty of laughs and stories. We agreed to reconnect in Dunedin/Tarpon Springs area. We toured area and spent fun days at beach exchanging stories and plenty of laughs. We parted ways at beach with plans of RV’ing together again in future Patti and I chat often of our times with Joanne and Brian and looked so very forward of spending time together again. We are saddened Brian has passed and offer our sincerest condolences to Joanne and family. Patti and Brian ….Port Colborne, Ont. - Posted by: Patti &Brian (Friends) on: Apr 22, 2024

  • My family moved in across the lane from Brian in 1960 and Brian and I became best friends from then until our teens. We went to school together, hung out together, went through childhood phases together, girls, smoking and drinking. We used to steal his dad's home made wine we called it Mackie Sake, our first ventures in drinking. I remember many Friday nights spent over at his house for sleepovers his mom Marion would make Kraft Pizza from the mix you buy and drinking Craig Mount pop watching TV. I would try and meet with him when I was back in Brandon, the last time was in 2022 spent an hour or so talking old times and what our kids are doing and how everything was going. Was sad to hear of his passing, it been 50 years since we were close but those 12 years of childhood are the ones you remember the most when things didn't matter much and life was to to have fun and adventures in life and stay out until the street lights come on - Posted by: Greg Gardner (Neighbour and childhood friend ) on: Apr 21, 2024
