Retired Sargent Black Watch Scottish Regiment 1951 to 1958, accomplished Gold Seal Carpenter for over 50 years, and Vice President Kelsey Construction Ltd. Operated Thomson’s Solo store, Kelwood, MB with Georgina for 11 years. Retired in Kelwood, staying active in the community and selflessly volunteering his time and knowledge to anyone in need. Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • What can I say about our precious Uncle Bruce, he was definitely my FAVORITE uncle! From the time I was a (wee lass) as he called me, I quickly came to realize that he was special. Always entertaining us with his stories and never ending Scottish songs that he sang to us! Watching him play the spoons was always so much fun too! I remember him trying to teach me how to play them only to wack my fingers instead with no music coming from them and he would just laugh and laugh! In later years I moved to Texas and every year I would go up and would never miss the chance to drive up to Kelwood to spend a few days visiting. Little did I know that my visit up there to see him last year would be my last. But the memories I carry in my heart will last the rest of my life! Love you forever Uncle Bruce, hope you are dancing with Aunty GG. xoxoxo - Posted by: Belinda Phillips (Niece) on: Apr 20, 2024
