Norman passed away peacefully on April 8, 2024 at St Boniface Hospital.
He was predeceased by his parents, Glen and Lorraine Driscoll (Perry) and one brother Dennis Driscoll; uncles, Harold, William, Elmer, Sam, Richard, Joe and aunts, Tena, Lucy, Joyce.
Norman leaves to morn his passing his brother Michael (Erika), aunts, Peggy, Evelyn, Auldine, Lillian and Leona, as well as many cousins.
Norman touched the lives of the people he knew and made a lasting impression on them. Although Norman had a disability, that never stopped him from anything. He was always determined to finish what he started. Norman was very tiny but very mighty. He was a real ladies’ man and a true gentleman. He loved to listen to Bruce Springsteen and Bob Seger.
Norman attended New Directions Day services for over ten years. He had many friends that he cared for there. Staff have fond memories of Norman, shutting the lights off and closing the doors. He had a good sense of humor by throwing staff stuff away and smiling about it. Norman is predeceased by his brother Dennis that also lived in the same home. Even in later years, they still fought and had their sibling moments. Norman will be missed by long term staff, his roommates and Winnserv.
Family would like to thank all the wonderful caring staff at Norman's residence. All your support with Norman is very much appreciated.
A Celebration of Life for Norman is planned for Saturday April 27, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel in Stonewall. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
