Peacefully, surrounded by love, at Golden West Lodge in Winnipeg, Joanna went home to be with her Lord.
She was pre-deceased by her parents, Harold and Alma Styles, of Carleton County, ON, her brother Lester and sister Eleanor Buck.
Joanna’s strong faith led her to mission service with both the Salvation Army and the Sisters of the Good Shepherd in India and SriLanka. In Winnipeg she was called to her lasting home and family at St. Chad’s Anglican Church.
Joanna celebrated over 50 years as a volunteer with Girl Guides of Canada, serving as Lagimodiere Area Commissioner and Provincial Awards Commissioner.
Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 9th at St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, 2700 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, The Rev. Liz Richens presiding.
