It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dad, Joseph Albert Jean (John) Lemon on April 22, 2024, at the age of 91 years after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Dad said he “lived a long and good life”.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his children Michael Lemon, Sharon Williams, and Karen (Chad) Tristram; his grandchildren Joshua Tristram, Ashley (Cole) and Evan Williams, Devyn (Sylvie) and Breahn (Brendan) Lemon as well as his great-grandchildren Merzedie, Haisley and Jaycee Lemon. Dad was predeceased by the love of his life for 57 years Frances Lemon (Mozdzen).
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 1 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg.
If friends so desire, a donation in Dad’s memory may be made to ANAF Unit 283 Assiniboia – 3584 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3K 0Z8.
