On Wednesday, April 24, 2024, Kae Harasym passed away peacefully at home.
Kae was born in the old Grace Hospital on April 13, 1929, to Vilfridur (Freda) and Vilberg (Will) Eyolfson of Arborg Manitoba. Kae was predeceased by her loving husband Mike 2013, of 60 years - her mother and father 1973, also by her brother Edward 1933 and sister Grace 1980, as well as her son Theodore (Theo) 2001 and his daughter Daven 1996. All uncles, aunts and first cousins on both sides of the family also predeceased Kae.
Kae is survived by her sons, Robert (Linda and granddaughter Rosalyn), Lorette, MB, and Kenneth, Winnipeg and daughter-in-law Lori, Winnipeg (grandson Mathew, Morden, MB).
Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 13, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 200 Dalhousie Drive, Winnipeg with Pastor Paul Sartison officiating. Burial will be in the family plot at Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg.
Special thanks to all the health care aides, nurses and doctors who helped add time and comfort to Kae's life, and offered kindness and compassion along the way. Mona Josephson, Funeral Director at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, is in care of arrangements.
