It is with sadness that Jocelyn's family announce her sudden passing at her home in Oak Bank at the age of 91 years.
Jocelyn will be missed by her sons Gerald (Doreen) and Bill Hallett, daughters Joan and Carla (David) and their families. She was predeceased by her dear husband Harry, son David, daughter Karen, sons-in-law Len Burwash and Adam Salamandyk and daughter-in-law Florence Hallett.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Ukrainian Catholic Church in Cooks Creek.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.

Joan, Carla Gerry, Bill and families - our condolences to your family We met Jocelyn and Harry around 1953/54. We had just moved to Wpg. 34 Home St. we had 2 room suites upstairs, Jocelyn and Harry were our 1st tenants, and immediately became friends with our parents Clara and Vic Vickner which has lasted a lifetime for our families. We think of Jocelyn's friendship, kindness always helpful in so many ways, her ready smile, many good memories. We were happy to attend her 90th birthday party and meet all her family and good friends. R.I.P. Jocelyn, you were a wonderful friend to everyone. My deepest sympathy Carla and David and the Palidwor family. Your mother was the kindest warm hearted person I ever knew. She was a woman full of love and wisdom and always knew the right thing to say. It was such a gift to be able to celebrate her birthday two years ago while Jim and I were in town. To see the all friends and family there in celebration of this remarkable woman, demonstrated the rippling effect her presence had in the lives of those who knew and loved her. I was truly saddened to hear of Mrs. Palidwor’s passing. A graceful lady who always greeted you with kind words, and the biggest smile imaginable. I will always remember the delicious homemade Ukrainian meals her and the girls would make for our hockey party’s. It was always a true celebration of family and friends.
