Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT (BOB) CORMACK
Robert (Bob) Cormack, 81, of Winnipeg, Manitoba, passed away on April 24, 2024.
He was born to Charles and Daisy Cormack, on April 17, 1943. Bob grew up in the North End of Winnipeg and graduated from Tec-Voc High School.
Over the years, he worked in various roles before becoming a member of the Winnipeg Police Services. In his spare time, he took pleasure in helping restore vehicles used in the Canadian Military, and had a passion for all things automotive.
Bob will be remembered for his generosity, and always lending a hand when needed. It was rare to not find a neighbour sitting at his kitchen table sharing a cup of coffee and conversation with him, discussing anything from politics to diesel engines. He had answers to almost any question you could think of, and the list of things he could build and fix was endless.
He is survived by his children Robert, Matthew and Julia, as well as various family members and grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Shirley, and his brother Sandy Cormack.
A funeral will be held on May 29, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue with burial to follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that people carve time out in their day to enjoy a coffee and conversation with a neighbour or friend. Bob would have really liked that.
