Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT (BOB) FREDERICK TREMBATH
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Robert (Bob) Frederick Trembath, at the age of 89. He passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, May 1, 2024.
Bob was predeceased by his parents, Gladys and Fred Trembath, and sisters, Betty and Eileen.
Bob is survived by his wife Sandra (Sandie); three daughters, DJ (Brian), Roxie (Cory), and Carlene (Gerry); eight grandchildren, Braedan, Soren, Jaelyn, Trent, Grayson, Marlise, Beatrix, and Zachary; his brother Dick, and many nieces and nephews.
Bob was born and raised in St. James. Early in life he enjoyed playing lacrosse, hockey, curling and golf. He attended Linwood School, which at the time included a high school. At the age of 16 he began working as a sign painter, a career that he pursued until his retirement in 2008.
It was during middle adulthood that he met the love of his life, Sandie, and became a father. They married in 1982 and had three daughters shortly thereafter. Bob was very family-oriented, and he cherished the strong connection of his family and all the gatherings over the years. He adored his grandchildren and was very involved in their lives.
While a man of few words, Bob had a contagious and memorable laugh. He lived a simple life, and in retirement took pleasure in walking the dog, reading mysteries, going for coffee with friends and spending time with family.
He will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4000 Portage Ave., on Friday, May 17 at 2:00 p.m.

I first met Bob in the mid 80’s through a friendship with his wife Sandra. Bob was such a kind, strong supportive family man and his wife and three daughters meant the world to him. There is nothing he would not do for his family. A hard worker, he was a talented artist and quite the perfectionist in his field of work. A life well lived, may he rest in peace - Posted by: Tanis Poturica (Friend ) on: May 16, 2024

To Sandra and family I send you all deepest condolences on the passing of Bob. You and Bob were highly respected in your business world - especially by my father, Ken. Thinking of you at this difficult time, from our mutual town across the pond. RIP Bob. - Posted by: Kim Bednarz (Business friend) on: May 11, 2024
