GREGORY FREDERICK TRIGG

April 19, 1952 - May 6, 2024

Sadly, after a long and courageous battle with the ravages of Parkinson's disease, Gregg passed away May 6, 2024.

He will be missed by his wife Susan, sisters Sheron and Terri along with their families and wonderful friends.

Thank you to the second floor nursing and care staff at Poseidon Care Home. You were so kind and gave him your best. Gregg dealt with the limitations and pain of Parkinson's disease with incredible dignity and strength. We are left deeply saddened but so very grateful to have known him, loved him, and be loved by him. It is heartbreaking to know how much he suffered and not have been able to take it all away.

Please be sure to keep your loved ones close and hug them hard. Gregg would do that.

Memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave.

  • Rip brother Greg, condolences to Susan and everyone - Posted by: Gary Trigg (Brother ) on: May 12, 2024

  • Susan, We were so sad to hear of Greg’s passing. He fought the hard fight and every step of the way, you were there for him, with all your love and caring. We saw it when we visited our Mom in Poseidon Home… Remember all the fun times, golfing, Bomber Games and Vegas, especially with Patti and Elliott, your dear friends. We wish you peace now, knowing Greg is at Peace now too.. Marge and Noel - Posted by: Marge Winiarz (Friend) on: May 11, 2024

  • So sorry to hear. Many fond memories of Gregg from Churchill Drive, T-Bird and Park Alleys. Gregg was renowned for his golf but his bowling skills still reverberate on Osborne. He loved his muscle cars way back when and would allow us to wash his car outside the T-Bird. Rest peacefully my friend. - Posted by: Barny Haines (Friend) on: May 11, 2024
