It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our dear mother Irene, on April 30, at the age of 99 years. Mom was one and half months shy of her 100th birthday.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Lillian Villeneuve (George), Rachel LeGras (Nick), Gilles (Brenda) and daughter-in-law Sandra, 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, siblings, Florence, Lionel, Nicole and Normand.
Irene is now reunited with her husband of 70 years, Roland, who predeceased her August 1, 2016, daughters, Celine Vande Graaf, Estelle Morissette, Carole Batz, son Marcel, brothers, Lucien, Oliver, Omer and Noel.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on June 4, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Charles Church, 320 St. Charles Street.
