It is with sadness we announce the passing of Marten Posthumus at age 97 years.
Service will be at Covenant Christian Reformed Church, 653 Knowles Avenue, Thursday, May 23, 2024, at 1:00 p.m.
Our Dad and Pake (grandfather) was a wonderful man. He will be missed by so many.

I am so sorry to not have seen the notice of Martin's passing. On behalf of my parents, Gordon & Agnes Scott (Henderson Hwy), I would have liked to represent them at Martin's service. Martin & Sally worked for my parents on their market garden when Martin & Sally first came to Canada. My mother suggested the name 'The Bake Oven' for their bakery when they established their own business. I think Sally & Martin's daughter, Agnes was born while they were living on our farm. I do know your Agnes was named after my mother. My parents treasured the Christmas card we received each year, with Martin's beautiful artwork. I hope you find this note.
