Peacefully, with his family by his side, on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at the Health Sciences Centre, Winnipeg, MB, John Chwartacki, aged 85 years, beloved husband of Joan, passed away.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family ceremony will be held at a later date.

Joan, Derek & Scott, I'm very sorry to hear of Jason's passing he was a great person, was always willing to help anybody & never said no & I will always remember the smile & that laugh he had, I will never forget it. Joan and Family, I have such wonderful memories of growing up next door to the Chwartacki family. I practically lived there, and, because I was an only child, it felt like they were my brothers and sisters. Because my parents had a TV, the boys often squeezed into our tiny living room on the floor to watch the hockey games! Some of my best childhood memories include the Chwartacki kids!
