It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret Ann Calrow on May 15, 2024.
Margaret was born December 16, 1951 in Winnipeg. She graduated from the University of Manitoba. Margaret married Eric Thomas Calrow on August 15, 1976, and together they taught in rural Manitoba. After she had her children, she worked as a teacher’s aid and para in school districts in Swan River and Winnipeg. She took a break from working in schools to be the owner/operator of the Mushroom Patch Floral Shop in Swan River, where she loved making floral arrangements for events around town. In her spare time Margaret enjoyed working in her garden tending to her plants.
She is survived by her daughter Cathleen (Chad) Plettl, sons, Eric (Crystal) Calrow and Gregory (Janet) Calrow, granddaughter Midge Calrow, sister Shelley (Ed) Huebert and nieces, Shannon and Shae.
She is predeceased by her husband, Eric Calrow and her parents.
Funeral services will be held at Grace Lutheran Church in Winnipeg on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. with interment to follow in Brookside Cemetery.
