DOUGLAS ALEXANDER (ALEX) LLOYD
With heavy hearts, we say goodbye to Douglas Alexander (Alex) Lloyd. He passed away peacefully on Monday, May 20, 2024, surrounded by his family.
Alex is survived by his wife Sandy, children, Krista (Jared), Jared (Chelsey), and Jessica (Spencer), grandchildren, Henry and Nora, Julia and Kailey, and Parker, Levi, and Emily, mother Rena, sister Glenna (Barry), brothers, Reid (Margaret), Glenn, and Rob (Tracie), sister-in-law Wendy (Dan) and brother-in-law Dan, as well as his many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, May 29 at 11:30 a.m. at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre - 3030 Notre Dame Ave. in Winnipeg.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation in honour of Alex's memory.

I am very sorry to get word of Alec’s passing. In truth the last time I saw him was before he and Sandy married. Despite the years, I have enjoyed getting updates through the grapevine. I’m grateful that Alec has enjoyed a houseful of children and grandchildren to share his life. It is a wrenching thing to lose someone so loved and needed - especially when they are still so young.
