Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDARLENE ANN GRIEVE
It is with heavy sad hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Darlene on Saturday, May 25, at her home in Oakbank, at the age of 72, surrounded by her family.
Darlene was a beautiful person who was predeceased by her parents, Abe and Mary Siemens and her brother Ed. Darlene leaves behind her husband of 44 years, Donald Grieve, daughter Brenda (Stan), granddaughters, Crystal (Clay), Kassandra (Chris), great-granddaughters, Delylah and Violet, cousins, Jerry (Robin) and David (Betty), niece Jennifer, nephews, Ian and Christopher and family who will forever miss her.
Darlene was a beautiful, strong, successful woman and was an avid traveler. She loved snorkeling, relaxing on the beach and markets. Her adventurous attitude took her and her husband Donald around the world. When she wasn’t traveling, she enjoyed cruising to Lockport in her Blue ‘94 Corvette. It wasn’t a world adventure, but it was the perfect adventure for a Sunday with Donald.
The family would like to thank the many friends and family that helped during these extremely difficult times providing food, strength, and support.
Darlene will be dearly missed by her family and the many friends she met through her life that loved her so much.
A service to celebrate Darlene’s life will be held on Thursday, May 30 at 11:00 a.m. at Oakbank United Church, 582 Balsam Crescent, OakBank. For those that wish to join virtually, please go the the photos/video tab on Darlene's memorial page.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice.
