• I am beyond sad to hear this news. I had the great pleasure and honour of being one of Sloane’s many friends and colleagues. I was blessed to be able to spend some time with her in the last few months and for that I will be eternally grateful. Sloan and I met through the security industry 10 years ago and we became fast friends. She was such a giving person and she will be greatly missed. To Rory, Tuera and Taigan, I am truly sorry. • My deepest condolences to Rory, their children and the rest of Sloane's family and friends. I was thunderstruck when I read about her passing. I've been thinking of nothing else while remembering all the fantastic times I had playing slo-pitch baseball with Rory, Sloane and her sister Shelley. Our extended ball team family were together for years and now form some of the fondest memories I have of younger days. • My condolences to Sloane’s family. I was absolutely shocked to see this announcement in the paper. I worked with Sloane for several years at CBSA and we were dragonboat teammates for several years. I could always count on Sloane to be an integral team member and assist in recruitment of new participants. I think about Sloane and our dragonboat weekends often.
