DEBRA LYNN JOYCE ENNS
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Debra Enns, at the age of 68, on May 27, 2024. Debbie was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
Debbie leaves behind her husband of 48 years, Frank Enns; sons, Steve and Chris (Erin); daughter Lindsey (Chris); grandchildren, Asher, Story, Gemma, Mila, and Ava; siblings, Cliff (Betty Ann), Cindy, and Lori; plus, many nephews, nieces, extended family, and friends who will forever miss her. She was predeceased by her parents, Harry and Helen King and her niece, Kelsey King.
Debbie cherished her family and loved opportunities to spend time together. Holidays and card parties were particularly special to her. Debbie was a proud and supportive mom and granny, and loved spending time with her kids and grandkids.
Debbie enjoyed puzzles, reading, fishing, listening to her favourite Elvis Presley songs and traveling with Frank. She was an avid bingo player and developed many friendships over the years through this hobby.
The family would like to thank the friends and family that helped during these extremely hard times, and to the nurses and doctors at St. Boniface Hospital, for their compassionate care of Debbie.
A service to celebrate Debbie’s life will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Winnipeg, 603 Wellington Crescent.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Debbie’s memory to the Winnipeg Humane Society.
